Arduino workshop
We organized the 2nd session of the Arduino workshop in collaboration with the IEEE AESS chapter and IEEE ENICarthage SB. The workshop took place in the amphitheater for those who couldn't attend the first session.
Students were seated in groups of 5. We provided the necessary components: Arduino boards, TCRT5000 infrared sensors, and ultrasonic sensors.
We shared a presentation to explain the Arduino board, the Arduino IDE software, sensors, and the coding process. I also introduced other similar tools, such as the ESP32 and Raspberry Pi. At the end, participants worked on projects, wiring the components to the Arduino board and writing the necessary code to turn an LED on and off, as well as demonstrating the operation of the ultrasonic sensors and the TCRT5000 infrared sensor.
Finally, we administered a quiz related to the training and awarded prizes to the top two performers.
