Valery serves as the student representative in IEEE Kenya Section as well as the IEEE Kenya SAC Committee Chairperson. She has previously served as the Chairperson and Vice chairperson of the IEEE Kenyatta University Student Branch.

Timothy Kipchumba serves as the Industry liaison of the IEEE Young Professionals Kenya Chapter. He is also the Vice Chairperson of IEEE Photonics Kenya Chapter. He works as a Network engineer at the Kenya Education Network Trust(KENET).
