Ada Lovelace Day: Celebrating women in STEM
The IEEE WIE Greece Section Affinity Group, in collaboration with the ECE NTUA Gender Equality Office, is celebrating the Ada Lovelace Day by hosting an online event titled “Ada Lovelace Day: Celebrating Women in STEM” on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, from 16:00 to 17:30 (Athens time).
The event aims to showcase the achievements of women engineers and their contributions to STEM by fostering empowerment, advancing inclusion, and enhancing diversity in the field. The event will feature a panel discussion with representatives from academia and industry, who will engage in an insightful conversation, sharing their personal experiences and perspectives on the challenges and opportunities for women in STEM, both in general and within their specific professional fields.
