During the IEEE SIGHT Info Session, our speaker Miss Nour Sbaboulji kicked off the event by introducing herself and sharing her background. She then introduced IEEE SIGHT (Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology), explaining that it is a global network focused on applying technology to solve humanitarian challenges. Nour highlighted the impactful projects IEEE SIGHT has been involved in, such as community-based initiatives and innovative solutions to address local and global issues. Towards the end, she surprised the audience with an exciting challenge, encouraging participants to brainstorm and propose their own tech-based humanitarian solutions.
