The 1st Workshop of the Northeast Brazil Section SPS Chapter will get local and international researchers together to discuss "Communication, Sensing, and Allocation in Future Wireless Systems." It will be the first event organized by our SPS chapter staff, with joint support of the IEEE SPS Chapter, CAPES/Brazil, and DAAD/Germany.

The workshop has a two-fold objective. First, it aims to attract the attention of the local academic community, especially our undergraduate and graduate students, to a hot signal processing topic, fostering their participation in a series of technical talks that will be given by local researchers and by international ones. Second, it will be an opportunity to connect with our local community and increase awareness about the Northeast Brazil Section SPS Chapter.

We will couple the technical workshop with meetings to discuss the Chapter initiatives, promote the SPS, and plan future actions for 2024/2025, including organizing the elections, creating an annual workshop, and discussing DL visits for 2025.
