The IEEE CASS 75th Anniversary will be celebrated in the IEEE Day at this years Brazil School of Microelectronics (EMicro)!
The South Brazil School of Microelectronics (EMicro) and the Southern Symposium of Microelectronics (SIM) are regional events organized by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and the Brazilian Society of Microelectronics (SBMicro) and the IEEE CASS Rio Grande do Sul Chapter (CASS-RS). The events bring together internationally recognized speakers, serving as a reference for the community and playing an important role in the dissemination of microelectronics. EMicro and SIM are primarily aimed at students of technical, undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science and Informatics, Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, as well as faculty members of these courses.

75th CASS Anniversary and the CASS-RS Chapter
This talk presents a little bit about the IEEE CASS, its purpose, history and the importance of becoming a member. Then, the activities of the CASS-RS Chapter are presented for students, motivating them to become active IEEE agents in their universities. Finally, the IEEE Student Branches and IEEE CASS Student Chapters will present a little bit about their members and activities.
