The KIEEE student branch welcomes you to our "Third Thursday" event series. Each month, we hold an event focused on delivering value to our student members. In September, we enjoyed a night at the Grizzly Grill. This month, we are excited to invite David Lingenbrink for a discussion about his career and life at Google. If you are interested in learning more about industry career paths, this talk is for you.

NOTE: The October "Third Thursday" event is taking place on the FOURTH Thursday (Oct 24th) due to reading week.

David Lingenbrink

David is currently a software engineer at Google. He has completed a PhD in the school of Operations Research and Information Engineering (ORIE) at Cornell University. We speak about his decision to do a PhD, his subsequent move to Google, and the differences between the two. The focus of the talk is to provide students, particularly undergraduates, with a better idea of their options upon graduation. You can find more information about David on his website.
