IIIT Bhubaneswar is excited to celebrate IEEE Day on October 3rd, 2024, from 5:00 PM to
7:30 PM at CG-02. This special event will bring together students, faculty, and technology
enthusiasts to commemorate the contributions of engineers and technologists worldwide. The
celebration will feature engaging activities, including a tech talk by industry experts, a
membership drive to highlight the benefits of IEEE, and an interactive quiz round to test
participants' knowledge of current technological advancements. Join us for an evening of
learning, networking, and celebrating innovation as we honor the spirit of engineering and
technological progress.
The events are as follows :-
1. Tech Talk by an Expert: The event will feature a distinguished guest speaker, Bikash
Kundu, CEO of Asiczen Technologies . His talk will offer a deep dive into emerging
technologies shaping the future of the tech world. The session will conclude with an interactive
Q&A where participants can engage directly with the expert.
2. IEEE Membership Drive: This segment will highlight the various benefits of becoming a
member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). Students will learn about the
opportunities for networking, access to exclusive research publications, scholarships, and
participation in global conferences that come with IEEE membership. The session aims to
encourage students to join IEEE and leverage its resources for career advancement.
3. Technical Quiz Round: A fun and engaging quiz will be held to test participants' knowledge
of current technological advancements. The quiz will cover a broad range of topics, including AI,
IoT, cybersecurity, and more. Participants will get the chance to compete and showcase their
tech expertise while having fun.
This program aims to provide valuable knowledge, professional networking opportunities, and
an exciting interactive experience for attendees.
