On the occasion of IEEE Day 2024, we have hosted an insightful mentorship session led by Dr. Khadim Moin Siddiqui,  Associate Professor, Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department, SRIMT, Lucknow. 🙌

Members from IEEE PES, PELS, EMBS, SPS, Computer Society, and Women in Engineering (WiE) actively participated, gaining valuable knowledge and inspiration from Dr. Siddiqui’s expertise and guidance. His session covered key career advice, emerging trends, and strategies for personal and professional growth. 🚀

Biography:

Dr. Khadim Moin Siddiqui, Senior Member IEEE

 

Dr. Khadim Moin Siddiqui (Senior Member, IEEE) received a Ph.D Degree in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow (Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow) in 2017. He is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, SR Institute of Management & Technology, Lucknow. He has more than 14 years of academic experience. 
He has published more than 60 research papers in various peer-reviewed Journals, Conferences and book Chapters. He has published four patents and out of four two patents has been granted. His interests include condition monitoring of Electrical Machines, Signal Processing, and Power Converters & Drives. He is a Senior Member of IEEE PES society, IEEE Power Electronics Society and IEEE Signal Processing Society. He has Google Scholar citations of over 522 with h-index 10. He has published 4 research books in English and two research books have been translated in French, German, Italian, Portuguese Russian and Spanish Languages. He has received fellowship for Ph.D. from Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP) Phase-II and M.Tech. Scholarship from Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), India. He successfully completed many courses conducted by National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL).
He contributed as an Editor of IEEE UP Section (R10) magazine in 2022 and Convener and member in Membership Development Committee in 2023. He got young professional Star of the March Month award in 2021 and Outstanding PES Chapter Advisor Award in 2022 from IEEE UP Section, India. He has completed Volunteer Leadership Training Program (VoLT) conducted by IEEE Member and Geographic Activities Board (MGA) in 2023. He got best research paper awards 3 times.
He has contributed as a Lead Guest Editor (Deputy Editor) in the special issue of IEEE Renewable Power Generation and Editor in the IET Generation Transmission & Distribution Journal. He has also contributed as a Lead Guest Editor in the Special issue of Distributed Generation & Alternative Energy Journal. He is a reviewer of many reputed international Journals and actively participating as a reviewer in many conferences.
He successfully completed two projects of IEEE R10 as a Project Coordinator. He organized many evens, one as a Chair, Eight as a Convener and Four as an Organizing Secretary.
