An Awareness Program on NPTEL Certification and Credit Transfer

A NPTEL awareness program was conducted for the students ECE  on  22th July 2024 via offline   mode.A total of 90 students attended the session. The agenda for the program is  how to enroll NPTEL courses and how to fill examination forms, Timeline for July Dec 2024.Student were given idea regarding NPTEL Certificates, fee waiver benefit for SC, ST and low-income students. The program has been initiated by Local Chapter Team, NPTEL, SREC. The aim of the program is to create maximum awareness among students about NPTEL and its various initiatives.  The session of the program has been taken by SPOC Mr.S.Mohammad Eliyas, Assistant Professor, SREC,Nandyal . In that session the speaker mentioned about the purpose of NPTEL and its features, NPTEL Online Certification courses and the concept of NPTEL Local Chapter to the students  commencement for  July – Dec, 2024. After that session, the SPOC summarize the impact of Local Chapter in their respective institutions. The program ended with vote of thanks by SPOC of Santhiram Engineering College,nandyal.

Program Objectives:

· To enroll the Nptel Courses for the Academic subjects.

· To discuss about the importance of the course and its fee structure

· To aware about the course exam for intenal assesment and external exam and how to get certification

· How to credit transfer to the academic once he/she gets the certificate.

Program Outcomes

· Understand the Structure of courses to be apply

· Weeky assessment due date alerts

· Understand how to refer the courses and to know the progress

· Students have got knowledge how to get certification and credit transfer
