Visit to Zurich Instrument at Technopark, Zurich
Zurich Instruments was founded in April 2008 as a spin-off by three employees of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), to take advantage of market demand for better lock-in amplifiers. The company's first product, the HF2LI, a 50 MHz lock-in amplifier, was introduced in 2009. Since 2016, Zurich Instruments has been developing quantum computing instrumentation technology in close collaboration with the groups at ETH Zurich and Delft University of Technology.
