EXPOGENIX’24
The Expogenix event hosted a vibrant array of innovative projects
created by students, showcasing their prowess in artificial intelligence. The
event fostered a vibrant atmosphere of knowledge exchange, with
participants engaging in lively discussions about project methodologies,
challenges faced, and future prospects. The event not only highlighted the
technical sophistication of these projects but also underscored the
students' creativity in applying AI to solve real-world challenges. Overall,
the event was a testament to the ingenuity and dedication of the next
generation of AI developers and researchers.
Expogenix'24 showcased the creativity and collaboration of our
Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Department at MJCET. The event
featured pioneering projects in ML, CV, AIoT, AR, and other advanced
technologies, highlighting our students' dedication and ingenuity.
Beyond technical prowess, Expogenix'24 provided hands-on
experience, skill refinement, and valuable networking opportunities with
industry professionals and peers. It celebrated innovation and fostered a
dynamic learning environment.
Looking ahead, Expogenix will build on this success by incorporating

Software Category:
1. TruthLens (1st Prize)
Description: TruthLens is an application that uses large language models (LLMs) to fact-check information from news, videos, and images. With capabilities provided by Luma AI and Perplexity, it ensures the accuracy and reliability of information.

2. EDUNOVA (2nd Prize)
Description: EDUNOVA is a smart education platform designed to make learning easier and support students in their studies and career development. It leverages LLMs, generative AI, and OpenCV to enhance the educational experience.

3. SmartPlan (3rd Prize)
Description: SmartPlan is an AI platform for architects and civil engineers, offering automated layouts, AR representation, green building features, construction plan advising, blueprint-to-dimension conversion, and cost estimation. It integrates DALL-E 3 for layout generation, Gemini 1.0 Pro Vision for dimensions, and Gemini 1.0 Pro for text generation, alongside AR capabilities with Glitch.

Hardware Category:
1. Gesture Responsive AI Controlled Environment (GRACE) (1st Prize)
Description: GRACE employs Infineon's XENSIV 60GHz Radar Sensor to detect finger gestures, allowing users to control IoT devices in their surroundings. As part of the Matter IoT domain, its initial use-case focuses on smart home automation.
