On 2nd September, a vibrant Plantation Drive was organized in collaboration with the Electronics Department at UET Taxila, marking a significant step toward environmental sustainability. The event saw the active participation of 37 dedicated individuals, including students, faculty members, and staff, all united by the shared goal of enhancing the campus greenery.

The drive not only underscored the importance of environmental conservation but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards creating a healthier, more sustainable world. Participants planted a variety of trees and saplings around the campus, contributing to the beautification of the university and promoting ecological balance.

·         Distribution of tools and supplies (gloves, shovels, plants, water).

1:10 PM – 1:20 PM:

·         Brief introduction to the importance of plantation and environmental conservation.

·         Instructions for the plantation process and safety measures.

1:20 PM – 1:25 PM:

·        Divide participants into small groups to cover different areas.

1:25 PM – 2:00 PM:

·         Ensure proper techniques are followed (hole depth, spacing, etc.).

·         Team members will assist and oversee the process.

2:00 PM – 2:15 PM:

·         Watering and Cleanup

·         Watering the newly planted trees.

2:15 PM – 2:25 PM:

·         A brief talk about future maintenance and follow-up for the plants.
