On the occasion of IEEE Day 2024, the IEEE BBDITM Student Branch successfully organized a membership drive and an introductory session for the students of BBDITM College. The event aimed to introduce students to the benefits of IEEE membership and encourage them to join the global community of engineering and technology professionals. The event commenced with a welcome address by , who highlighted the significance of IEEE Day and the importance of being a part of the IEEE community. The introductory session provided an overview of the IEEE BBDITM Student Branch, its mission, and the various opportunities available to members.

  1. IEEE Membership Overview: The benefits of IEEE membership were explained, including access to exclusive resources, networking opportunities, and participation in IEEE events and competitions.

  2. Guest Speakers: Esteemed alumni and industry professional Mr. Hitansh Dwivedi (Immediate Past Chair IEEE BBDITM Student Branch) shared their experiences and the impact of IEEE membership on their careers. Their insights inspired students to consider joining IEEE.

  3. Interactive Q&A Session: Students had the opportunity to ask questions about IEEE membership, its benefits, and how to get involved in the IEEE BBDITM Student Branch. The session was highly engaging and informative.

  4. Networking Session: A networking session allowed students to interact with current IEEE members, faculty, and guest speakers. This provided a platform for students to seek guidance and mentorship.

  5. Membership Registration: The event concluded with a membership registration drive, where interested students signed up to become IEEE members. The drive saw a significant turnout, reflecting the students' enthusiasm and interest in IEEE.
