The session began with the introduction of our instructor, Salem Shamsul Alam, a Research Assistant (RA) at North South University. With his background in data analytics, he shared valuable insights into the principles of data visualization and its growing importance in today's digital landscape. Salem then guided participants through practical techniques using Excel, demonstrating how to transform raw data into impactful visualizations.

He highlighted the significance of selecting appropriate visual formats to enhance data interpretation and provided live demonstrations that engaged the audience. Participants were shown step-by-step processes for creating clear, effective visualizations, making complex data easier to understand and analyze.

The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where Salem addressed queries on best practices and the applications of data visualization in various fields. Attendees left with a solid understanding of how to apply data visualization techniques to real-world problems, gaining valuable skills that could enhance both academic and professional projects.
