LOL: Laughing Out Logic

The "LOL: Laughing Out Logic" event, organized by IEEE SB CEV, took place on October 4, 2024, as part of the IEEE Day 2024 celebrations. This fun and educational charade aimed to blend creativity with technical knowledge, engaging participants in an interactive learning experience. The event began with a welcome speech from Miss. Shamna K (Ambassador of IEEE Day 2024 and Vice Chairperson of WIE AG, IEEE SB CEV), followed by an inspiring introduction to IEEE by Mrs. Jisha M V (Counselor of IEEE SB CEV).

Participants competed in teams of 2 to 4 members, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and friendly competition. Each team had 90 seconds to guess a word or phrase acted out by one member, with no speaking or writing allowed, only gestures. The turn based format enabled every team member to participate actively, with unlimited guesses allowed within the time limit. The scoring system rewarded correct guesses with points, and teams that couldn’t guess had the opportunity for the opposing team to steal the points.

The event was highly engaging, resulting in laughter and excitement as teams worked together to interpret technical terms. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing that the event was enjoyable, informative, and interesting. Numerous attendees also showed interest in joining IEEE, indicating the event's success in promoting the organization and its initiatives. The event concluded with remarks from Mrs. Mumthas T K (Chapter Advisor - CS SBC, IEEE SB CEV) and a vote of thanks by Miss. Lamiya Noushad (Joint Secretary - IEEE SB CEV). A photo session followed, capturing the memories of this memorable day. Overall, the "LOL: Laughing Out Logic" event was a great success, effectively combining fun and education while fostering camaraderie among participants.
