  • Speaker's bio:
Joe Decuir worked 42 years in industry: medical electronics, video games, personal computers, networking devices, operating systems, USB and Bluetooth.  He is an IEEE Fellow cited for contributions to personal computer graphics and video games (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_C._Decuir).  His remaining unexpired patent is the basis of WiFi Direct.  He just began his 9th year teaching engineering at UW Bothell campus.
