In celebration of IEEE Day 2024, an annual global event that takes place on the first Tuesday of October, the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Kelaniya proudly hosted TechPulse: A Deep Dive into Cloud Computing. This year’s IEEE Day theme, "Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow," set the stage for a transformative event dedicated to exploring cloud security and data protection, critical areas in today’s digital landscape.

Held on October 5th, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the university premises, TechPulse drew the participation of numerous undergraduates passionate about emerging technologies. The event provided a platform for participants to gain insights into the future of cloud technology, the unique benefits and challenges of cloud adoption, and the critical importance of security and privacy in the digital era. Through dynamic discussions and expert-led sessions, the event fostered collaboration and encouraged the exchange of ideas on protecting digital infrastructures and maintaining data integrity in an increasingly interconnected world.
