 Integration Day - INSAT is a yearly event organized by student clubs or organizations at INSAT, to welcome new and returning members. It's a way to introduce the club's activities, goals, and structure to participants, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

The purpose of IEEE INSAT SB's participation in Integration Day was to promote the club to INSAT students, encouraging them to join as members and engage with our activities.

 

Event Highlights:
1.Stand Decoration and Setup:

The stand was creatively decorated to attract attention, featuring:

  • Posters highlighting the missions and activities of each chapter.
  • A 3D-printed IEEE skeleton symbolizing the organization’s structure.
  • Displays of robots, prizes, and medals from past competitions, showcasing the club's achievements and technical prowess.

                                                                                 

2.Engagement Activities:

  • We have included interactive elements that encouraged student participation, such as:
  • Informative discussions about the different chapters and their unique activities. During the event, each chapter presents itself with informative posters showcasing their projects, goals, and activities.
  • Ice-breaker games like Jenga.
  • Providing stickers as gifts.
  • Q&A: Opportunities for students to ask questions about our club and engage with current officers.
  •                                                          

3.Recruitment:

An online recruitment form was prepared and widely shared through: our social media platforms and our website.
A QR code linked to the form was prominently displayed on:TV screens at the stand and on officers’ phones for easy scanning.


                                                                                   


Outcomes
1.Increased Membership

The event resulted in a substantial growth in membership, with 670 new recruits filling out the form, significantly expanding the club’s base.


2.Positive Feedback

Attendees expressed enthusiasm about the event and the opportunities available within the IEEE Student Branch, creating a positive atmosphere that is likely to translate into active participation in future events.
