The annual celebration of IEEE Day for the year 2024 held at the Hashemite University showcasing the branch societies and introducing new students to IEEE

Sumo Robots game: 2 sumo robots were showcased for the students to try and play against each other and to learn about sumo robots and how they function.

 

Utopia:

A student community focused on military robots showed their robots and projects for the students along side a remote controlled robot car where the player needs to drive without crashing

Drinkat:

A collaborative drinks and coffee company that offered free refreshing drinks for the students 

Women in Engineering Society (WIE) :

-Traditional Games:

1-including Jenga

1-Playstation game that mimicked modern gameplay 

2-Horror game that let players fully experience it with tools like headphones

3-A smurfs game for new students.. ***the same team developed both the horror game and the smurfs game

Power and Energy & Industry Applications Joint Society (PES & IAS):

3.  Refab project: a production line that turns plastic into usable fabric for sewing 

 

4. Prizes Wheel - a large wheel is divided into sections, each containing a questions about IEEE or a prize, players take turns spinning the wheel

 

5.  Words game - players search for hidden words within a

 grid of letters

 

6.  Speed writing competition

Computer Society (CS):

1. Mouse Eye Tracker: This project uses facial and eye tracking

 

2. phishing attack :This project aims to educate the

community on social engineering

 

3. Script Installation: We demonstrate how a script can be

installed on a phone 

 

4. Link-Based Hacks: We show how accounts can be compromised via links deceive victims into clicking

 

5. Codenames IEEE Style : this game programmed by the team  from scratch ,We use C++ and Java script, this project  adds a fun, interactive element to the event.
