INSIGHTS ON OPEN HARWARE AND RISC -V

The IEEE IES Student Branch Chapter at NSSCE  conducted a session on Open Hardware and RISC-V, designed to introduce students to the world of open hardware and its vast possibilities. The session featured by  Mr. Jayaraj J, a PhD student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a member of the MASC Research Group, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the transformative impact of open hardware on technological innovation and its future prospects.

Around 50 students from various colleges attended the session, all are eager to learn about the complexities and opportunities of open hardware development.In this session speaker discussed the current advancements in the field and shared his expert perspective on how open hardware can shape the future of technology. The session concluded with a  Q&A segment, where students had the opportunity to clarify their doubts and gain further insights.

 Overall, the webinar was a great success, leaving participants inspired and more knowledgeable about open hardware. Many expressed their enthusiasm for exploring this fascinating field and the exciting opportunities it presents for future innovation.
