IEEE DAY SERIES - COMPETITION - POSTER PALETTE

As part of the IEEE Day Series celebrations, the IEEE Student Branch at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (STB-61261) hosted the highly successful Poster Palette competition. The event aimed to ignite the spirit of creativity and innovation among students across disciplines. By encouraging students to harness their artistic abilities and explore visual communication, the event underscored the role of design in engineering and technology.

Held virtually on Google Meet, the competition featured an exciting format in which participants were given on-the-spot design topics. These topics pushed students to think quickly and translate their ideas into compelling visual narratives within a short time frame. The challenge consisted of a 30-minute design session, where students were tasked with creating posters that conveyed their thoughts and messages with clarity and creativity.

The event was open to students from all years and branches, promoting inclusivity and collaboration across different academic streams. This broad eligibility encouraged an impressive level of participation from students, who brought a diverse range of perspectives and design styles to the competition. 

Participants enthusiastically showcased their artistic prowess, with designs that ranged from minimalist and abstract concepts to intricate and colorful representations. The event fostered a vibrant atmosphere where creativity flourished, as students used their visual storytelling skills to captivate the audience and panel of judges.

In addition to being a platform for creative expression, the Poster Palette competition served as a valuable learning opportunity. Participants gained hands-on experience in graphic design while exchanging ideas with their peers, fostering a collaborative environment where creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving were at the forefront. 

Judges evaluated the posters based on criteria such as originality, design aesthetics, and the ability to effectively convey the assigned topic. The competition also provided insights into how visual design can be an impactful tool for communication in technical and academic settings.

At the end of the event, all participants were awarded e-certificates, recognizing their creativity, effort, and engagement in the competition. The certificates served as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the success of the event and their commitment to celebrating IEEE Day in a fun and innovative way.
