On October 5th, 2024, IEEE 2024 Day was celebrated at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Chennai Campus, gathering students, faculty members, and industry experts to foster discussions on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This event aimed to inspire participants by providing a platform for knowledge exchange and networking with leaders in the tech industry. The event began with great enthusiasm and focused on the importance of embracing innovation in the ever-evolving technological landscape.
Mrs. Poonguzhali P (Scientist ‘E’, CDAC, Chennai), the Guest of Honor, delivered a highly technical talk on Innovating IoT and Mobile Security Solutions. Her presentation delved deep into the origin and architecture of IoT, the role of wireless sensors, cloud computing, and embedded systems, as well as the importance of maintaining security through the CIA Triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability). She further discussed the future of IoT, exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and IoT to transform industries and enhance security.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Rahul, who expressed gratitude to the speakers, guests, and organizers for their invaluable contributions, making IEEE 2024 Day a resounding success.
