The IEEE Day Celebration at JIT was a comprehensive event that combined technical learning with interactive and engaging activities.

Dr. Brindha S., Chair of IEEE Student Activity (Madras Section), delivered an inspiring talk on the importance of IEEE membership and its role in fostering personal and professional growth. She shared her journey as an IEEE ambassador, highlighting the many benefits and opportunities IEEE provides to students.

Following her speech, Dr. G.R. Suresh, Principal of JIT, felicitated Dr. Brindha S. and shared his thoughts on the value of IEEE in the academic and professional development of students. He encouraged students to take advantage of IEEE’s resources and networks.

The JIT IEEE newsletter was also issued during the IEEE Day Celebration, highlighting recent activities, achievements, and upcoming events of the IEEE Student Branch. This newsletter serves as an important resource for keeping the community informed and engaged.

Throughout the day, several technical and non-technical events were conducted, which included competitions like the ROBOTHON and Speech Competition. The winners were awarded certificates and were recognized on stage. Non-technical events such as Connections, Guess the Celebrity, and Musical Chairs brought a sense of fun and relaxation to the participants. These activities promoted teamwork and engagement among students, making the event enjoyable for everyone.
