IEEE KPRIET Student Branch is Organizing many events to celebrate IEEE Day 2024 on 1st October and 10th October 2024. These events aim to foster innovation and professional growth , in alignment with the IEEE Day theme.

Event 1: Tech-Pictionary
Overview:
Organized by IEEE SIGHT, GRSS, and WIE, Tech-Pictionary challenged participants to draw and guess technology-related terms, fostering teamwork and creativity. The event aimed to enhance understanding of technology's societal impact while promoting collaborative learning.
Highlights:
- Teams of 2-3 players took turns drawing and guessing words.
- Each correctly guessed word earned 1 point, and the team with the highest score advanced to the next round.
Event 2: Bid-War
Overview:
Bid-War, a strategic competition, involved cricket-themed challenges such as trivia, animation recognition, and an auction round. Organized by IEEE SIGHT, GRSS, and WIE, it fostered critical thinking and collaboration among participants.
Highlights:
- Four rounds, including Cricket MCQs, animation recognition, and a bidding war.
- Teams built cricket teams within an 80-crore budget, using strategy to select players based on point values.
Event 3: Connection
Overview:
This individual event tested participants' knowledge across IEEE-related topics, technology, and Tamil songs. Participants competed through three rounds of images and questions, ending with a lively balloon-popping challenge.
Highlights:
- Three dynamic rounds of increasing difficulty.
- Final round included questions on Tamil songs with a twist of popping balloons for answers.
Event 4: Marketing Makeover Pitch
Overview:
In this creative challenge, participants created or recreated advertisements within 3 minutes. Judged on originality, clarity, creativity, and confidence, this event encouraged innovation and audience engagement.
Highlights:
- Participants presented pitches in either Tamil or English.
- Props were encouraged to enhance engagement and creativity.
The IEEE Day 2024 events successfully promoted innovation, creativity, and teamwork among students, aligning with IEEE's mission to foster professional and technical growth.
