The event was a professional and academic celebration, open to students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals. It was conducted at the university level, showcasing MIT ADT University's commitment to technical education and innovation.

 


Session Plan/ Schedule

  1. Welcome Address
    Delivered by Dr. Reena Pagare, IEEE MIT ADT STB Head. Dr. Pagare opened the ceremony, extending a warm welcome to all attendees, including distinguished guests, students, faculty, and alumni.

  2. Kshitij Talk
    Presented by Mr. Dinanath Kholkar, Professor of Practice and former Senior Vice President at TCS, Chair of IT/ITES Committee MCCIA.

    Profile: Mr.Dinanath Kholkar has held various leadership roles in the IT industry and contributed significantly to industry growth. His talk focused on emerging trends in technology & the role of technology in society, and the critical skills required for the future workforce.

  3. Remarks by IEEE STB Chair
    Mr. Samarth Dongare, Chairperson of the IEEE MIT ADT Student Branch, shared remarks about the progress of the Student Branch, its achievements, ongoing projects, and upcoming expansion plans.

  4. Felicitation of Guests
    All the distinguished guests were felicitated by the IEEE MIT ADT Student Branch in recognition of their contributions and support to the IEEE community.

  5. IEEE MIT ADT Student Branch Briefing
    Delivered by Parv Gupta, Ex-Chair of IEEE MIT ADT STB, who provided an overview of the Student Branch’s accomplishments during his tenure, emphasizing how the branch has evolved, the milestones achieved, and the projects led by student members.

  6. Award Function
    Outstanding contributions by volunteers of the IEEE Student Branch as well as winners of the Treasure Hunt 2024 were recognized with awards. The awardees were congratulated for their efforts in advancing the goals of IEEE at MIT ADT University.

  7. Addresses by Key University Leaders:

Dr. Sunita Karad, Executive Director, MIT ADT University

Each of these academic leaders provided inspiring addresses, focusing on the role of technology in education, the importance of technical societies like IEEE, and the role of students in shaping the future of innovation.

  1. IEEE Day Celebration – Cake Cutting Ceremony
    To mark the celebration of IEEE Day, a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony took place

  2. Group Photo
    A group photo was taken with the SAC Committee, students, and guests to commemorate the event.

  3. Vote of Thanks

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Trupti Kudale, Secretary, IEEE MIT ADT STB. She thanked the guests, organizers, and attendees for their contributions and participation in making the event a success.

The objective of the IEEE Day Celebration at MIT ADT University was multi-faceted, aiming to achieve the following:

    To honor the achievements of IEEE as a global organization committed to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. The event aimed to reflect the values and mission of IEEE by highlighting its role in shaping the future of technology.

  2.  Community Engagement:
    To bring together students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals under one platform, encouraging networking and knowledge-sharing. The event served as a bridge between various stakeholders to promote collaboration and support among members of the IEEE community.

  3. Promote Leadership and Professional Growth:
    To provide an opportunity for students to engage with leaders from academia and industry, fostering leadership qualities and professional development. The keynote address is aimed to offer insights into emerging technologies, innovation, and industry expectations.

  4. Celebrate Collaborative Spirit:
    To commemorate IEEE Day with a sense of unity and pride through a shared celebration involving cake-cutting and group photos, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and shared goals within the IEEE community.

  5. Recognition of Student Volunteers:
    We recognized and awarded the dedicated volunteers whose hard work and commitment contributed significantly to the success of the IEEE Student Branch.
