In celebration of
𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗗𝗮𝘆, the 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 hosted an exciting "
Visual Vortex Challenge" competition for students, aimed at engaging participants and enhancing their creative
and technical skills in the art of video production. The event, judged by Balasai (Visual editor behindwood)
presented a unique challenge where students were assigned a specific theme ,testing both their creativity and
adaptability in video editing

Participants were given theme for showcasing their understanding ofthe assigned theme or
footage. They had to demonstrate their skills in editing techniques,transitions, sound
synchronization, and visual storytelling, all of which are integralto producing an engaging video.
The event was vibrant and filled with impressive projects, as students exhibited their creativity,
technical prowess, and passion forthe art of video editing

The jury, led by Balasai(Visual editor behindwood) , evaluated the video submissions based on
various criteria such as editing technique, creativity, storytelling, and overall presentation.
Afterreviewing a range of impressive works,the best editors were selected and awarded,
recognizing their exceptional ability to produce high-quality content under spontaneous
conditions.
Overall,the event not only showcased the technical and creative potential of video editing but
also provided an engaging platform for students to demonstrate their skills, making it an
unforgettable and rewarding highlight ofthe IEEE Day celebrations.
