🎉 IEEE Day 2024 was celebrated in full spirit at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, led by our incredible team! A special thanks to our esteemed chief guest, Prof. (Dr.) Shashikant Patil, Secretary of IEEE Bombay Section, for sharing insights into the transformative impact of IEEE . 🚀 Under the supervision of Dr. Dr Sudhanshu Maurya, SMIEEE , and with the leadership of Arya Kashikar (Chair), Alakshendra Pratap Singh (Vice Chair), and Aditya Joshi (Vice Chair), the event marked a significant achievement with over 130 members! 💡

We were joined by our honorable Director, Dr. Nitin Rakesh who held a celebration of the achievements our college had this year and held an interaction for planning another year of wonderful and successful achievemnts!
Biography:
Dr. Nitin is a recipient of IBM Drona Award and Top 10 State Award Winner. He is active member of professional society like Senior Member IEEE (USA), ACM, SIAM (USA), Life Member of CSl and other professional societies. He is reviewer of several prestigious Journals/ Transactions like IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, The Computer Journal, Oxford Press, many SPRINGER/other Scopus indexed International Journals.
His research outlines emphasis on Network Coding, Interconnection Networks & Architecture and Online Phantom Transactions. Dr. Nitin has accorded several other awards for Best Paper Published, Session Chairs, Highest Cited author, Best Students Thesis Guided, and many others.

About The IEEE Bombay Section Secretary
Dr. Shashikant Patil is a Professor at Atlas SkillTech University. With over 25 years of experience in academia, he has made notable contributions to engineering education. His research areas include signal and image processing, and their real-world applications. Dr. Patil has an extensive publication record in esteemed journals and has delivered keynote speeches at numerous international conferences. His excellence has been recognized through prestigious accolades like the Best Researcher Award and Best LinkedIn Profile Award. Beyond research, Dr. Patil is deeply committed to student mentorship and cultivating productive collaborations between industry and academia.

Biography:
Dr. Sudhanshu Maurya has been designated as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and In-charge Research Cell at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. He is currently a visiting postdoctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg, Europe. He has completed his Post-Doctoral Research at the School of Computer & Communication Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Kangar, Perlis, Ministry of Education, Malaysia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science, special focus on “Security and Privacy Aspects of Mobile Cloud Computing.” He is also associated with the Centre of Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) for his research on AI based Quantum Cryptography. He obtained his M. Tech CSE (Gold Medalist) from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (A Central University), Srinagar, Uttarakhand, India.
He is Senior Member of IEEE, Chair, IEEE Bombay Section Sensors Council, and Branch Counsellor, IEEE Student Branch (STB 60217705) SIT Nagpur. Currently, he has edited 3 books, 4 course books, 3 international patents (Granted), 13 Indian patents, and authored or co-authored more than 150 research papers indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science (SCI/SCIE/ESCI), ACM, indexed journals and IEEE conferences.
