IEEE DAY(ARTISTIC AURA COMPETITION)
Brief Description:
IEEE Student Branch Jeppiaar Engineering College , On the Celebration of IEEE
Day We have Organized a drawing competition titled “Artistic Aura”. The event was held in
the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM
on 8th October 2024.
The competition was aimed to burst out their creativity among students,
encouraging them to express themselves artistically. Participants were provided with art
supplies and given one hours to create their masterpiece on a theme revealed at the start
of the event “Innovation and Sustainability in Engineering”.
Event Overview:
The event was judged by Mr. Sakthiezhil a renowned artist and visual arts.
judge evaluated the artworks based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall
presentation.
• Theme Announcement:
The participants were given the theme “Innovation and Sustainability in
Engineering” to explore the intersection of art and technology.
• Mentoring Session:
Before the competition began, the judges conducted a brief session on the
importance of creativity in engineering and how it drives innovation.
• Display and Judging:
After the competition, all artworks were displayed in the college atrium for the
audience to appreciate. The judges then evaluated the submissions and selected the top
three winners.
• Awards Ceremony:
E- certificates of participation given to all. The first-place winner received a
sWinner Certificate and a mentoring session with Mr.Sakthiezhil.
Results and Feedback:
The event was a resounding success, with all participants showcasing their
creativity and unique perspectives on the theme. The judge praised the students for their
innovative ideas and artistic skills. Feedback from participants highlighted their enjoyment
and the opportunity to challenge themselves creatively.

3. Third Place: – Sidhra -IT -2nd year
