IEEE DAY Celebration: Building Community and Igniting the Spirit of IEEE ENET'Com SB
Celebrating the 15th edition of IEEE Day, IEEE ENET’Com SB delivered a unique and empowering event, bringing its members together to commemorate the occasion. The primary goal was to foster and share the IEEE ENET'Com spirit among them through engaging activities, insightful talks, and collaborative workshops.
This transformative day began with a warm welcome to our members, followed by a smooth check-in process. Attendees then had the chance to network and connect with one another before the highly anticipated panel discussion began.
The panel featured long-standing IEEE ENET’Com members who have built successful careers with the support of IEEE. They shared insights into the opportunities and benefits they’ve gained over the years, explaining how they leveraged these to advance in their professional journeys. The discussion captivated the audience, sparking engaging conversations and prompting attendees to ask insightful questions as they sought guidance on how to navigate and seize opportunities within our organization.
After the panel discussion concluded, thanks to the high energy and hard work of the logistics committee, we swiftly moved to the Coffee Break. Attendees enjoyed a beautifully prepared table, taking the opportunity to relax, and have fun together. It was a perfect moment for everyone to start building connections and getting to know each other, and we could clearly see the joy and the spirit of the IEEE ENET'Com SB family notion starting to get created among them.
After getting into the IEEE Day celebration vibes, each attendee participated in workshops designed to sharpen their soft skills and guide them in finding their path to becoming effective, socially aware individuals in their professional careers.
The planned workshops covered a variety of valuable topics, starting with the '1 Hour Build-Up' session led by Mr. Mohamed Taher Mnif, which focused on quickly developing problem-solving strategies under pressure. Mrs. Hajer Kammoun conducted the 'CV Design' session, offering expert tips on crafting professional and impactful design. The 'Self-Confidence' session with Mr. Mohamed Ali Krichen aimed at boosting participants' self-esteem and helping them communicate more efficiently in both personal and professional settings. The Path' workshop, facilitated by Mr. Mohamed Frikha, was a leadership-focused session, guiding attendees on how to cultivate leadership qualities and take charge of their personal and professional growth. Lastly, Mr. Mohamed Amin Bouaziz led the 'Time Management' workshop, equipping participants with effective techniques to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and enhance productivity.
The final part of the plan was the highlight of the day, an exciting team-building activity called ‘The Passport.’ This well-planned game was an adventurous quest, where participants deciphered clues and solved challenging activities intricately linked to the world of IEEE coordinating it until all the teams gathered together again, finding the last key of the game which is the Tunisia country, the significance of the common link between all of us, following the theme of the IEEE Day “Raise Your Flag”.The activity met its goal, to share IEEE knowledge while enhancing teamwork and collaboration among the participants.
We cultivated the event sharing the IEEE ENETCOM SB spirit with every member who attended our celebration, leaving them inspired, connected, and more aligned with IEEE's mission to advance technology for the benefit of humanity.
