The IEEE Day Celebration 2024 at Rajkiya Engineering College, Kannauj, was a resounding success, bringing together students, faculty, and professionals to engage in a series of insightful and interactive activities. The event aimed to promote technological innovation, professional development, and IEEE membership benefits.

 

IEEE DAY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: October 7, 2024

Event Timing: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM

• Inaugural Ceremony:
  The event began with an inaugural speech by the Director, Prof. Rachna Asthana, and the Registrar, Dr. B.D.K Patro, at Venue 109.

• Welcome Address by Dean/IEEE Counsellor:
  Dr. Arun Kumar Singh delivered an opening address at 11:20 AM, setting the tone for the day’s events.

• Celebration and Cake Cutting Ceremony:
  A short celebration and cake-cutting ceremony took place at 11:40 AM, bringing together participants in the spirit of IEEE Day.

• Address by SPS Society Advisor:
  Mr. Rajeev Kumar provided insights into the SPS Society at 11:50 AM in Venue 208.

• Address by Affinity Group Advisor:
  Mrs. Archana Verma addressed the participants at 12:10 PM, emphasizing the significance of affinity groups.

• IEEE Membership Drive:
  The membership drive followed, providing information to prospective members, at 12:30 PM in Venue 208.

• Discussion on Journals & Research Papers:
  Dr. Anurag Shukla led a session on research and journals from 12:40 PM to 1:10 PM.

• Social & Environmental Activity – Plantation:
  Participants engaged in a plantation activity from 1:10 PM to 1:30 PM.

 

IEEE DAY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: October 8, 2024

Event Timing: 12:00 Noon – 4:00 PM

• Resume Building Workshop:
  A workshop on resume building was conducted by Mr. Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay from 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM in Venue 208.

• Session on ChatGPT: Advantages and Usage by Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay:
  Ashwini Singh Upadhyay led a session on ChatGPT, discussing its advantages and how to effectively use it. This session was held from 12:50 PM to 1:30 PM in Venue 208.

 

• Session on Professional Profile Handling, Resume Generation, and LinkedIn by Prince Kumar:
  Prince Kumar conducted an insightful session on managing professional profiles, creating strong resumes, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn for career growth.

 

• Coding Competition: Code Rush (Open to All):
  A coding competition, "Code Rush," was held in Venue 109 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

 

• Technical Poster Presentation (Open to All):
  Technical posters were presented by participants in Venue 402 from 3:00 PM to 3:20 PM.

• Event Conclusion and Closing:
  The day ended with a closing address by Mr. Rajeev Kumar from 3:20 PM to 3:35 PM in Venue 208.

• Prize Distribution:
  Prizes, certificates, and momentos were distributed to competition winners and honorable mentions from 3:35 PM to 3:50 PM in Venue 208.
