The IEEE Computer Society chapter of Tafila Technical University proudly attended the (JSYP) 2024, This year's event, themed "Innovation in Gaming," marked the 9th edition of JSYP, hosted by the University of Jordan, and focused on bridging the gap between young developers and industry professionals in the gaming sector.

This year’s conference added a unique twist with a nostalgic Mario-theme, drawing inspiration from the iconic video game series. It created an immersive experience where attendees could explore the intersection of gaming, virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI), esports, and game design. The venue, referred to playfully as the "Mushroom Kingdom of Jordan," was transformed into an engaging space that blurred the lines between the virtual and real worlds. Participants, including the IEEE CS TTU delegation, took part in a series of workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on sessions designed to simulate a progressive journey of skill-building—akin to leveling up in a video game.
