IEEE ORIENTATION CEREMONY 2024
As IEEE Week 2024 came to a close on October 10th, an orientation ceremony was held, bringing together IEEE Women in Engineering, ZHCET, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, ZHCET, IEEE Student Branch, and IEEE Computer Society.

Representatives from each branch gave insightful presentations, offering an overview of their activities and encouraging student participation. The event also included a prize distribution ceremony, where winners of various competitions held during the 2023-2024 academic year were recognized and awarded by our esteemed guests.
GUESTS OF HONOUR:
The event started with a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests and participants. The presence of esteemed individuals greatly elevated the significance of the occasion, setting an inspiring tone for the proceedings.

All students, members, and esteemed guests of honor were warmly welcomed by the IEEE students at the event. Their presence enriches our gathering and highlights our commitment to fostering knowledge and innovation within our community. The students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to engage with distinguished guests, setting a positive tone for the proceedings.
KEYNOTE ADDRESS BEGINS:
The address commenced with a traditional recitation of a Quranic verse, reflecting the rich customs of Aligarh Muslim University. Following this opening, a comprehensive overview of the various IEEE clubs was presented, including the IEEE Women in Engineering, ZHCET, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, ZHCET, IEEE Student Branch, ZHCET, and IEEE Computer Society, ZHCET. Each club's noteworthy contributions and initiatives were highlighted, showcasing their significant roles within the community. Notable activities included conducting diverse technical webinars, organizing engaging workshops and competitions, and facilitating interactive sessions with industry professionals. Subsequently, the members of each club were introduced, starting with their Chairpersons, Secretaries, and Heads of specific domains, acknowledging their dedication and leadership in guiding the clubs' initiatives throughout the year.
Our esteemed guests presented the awards to the winners of the following events: Ideathon Event; Code O Fiesta 3.0; Tech Quiz; Photography Competition; Cyber Fusion Clash Quiz; Amplify 2024: OP-AMP Design Contest
ADDRESS BY GUESTS:
The address commenced with remarks from Prof. Mirza Salim Beg, Dean of ZHCET, who highlighted the crucial role of innovation and collaboration in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. He underscored the importance of staying current with advancements and encouraged students to actively engage in IEEE activities. He emphasized that such participation not only enhances their skills but also equips them to tackle future challenges effectively. Following him, Prof. M.M. Sufiyan Beg, Principal of ZHCET, commended the significant efforts of the IEEE clubs and the students who took part in various competitions and events throughout the year. He acknowledged their hard work and dedication, which contribute to a vibrant learning environment. Prof. Sufiyan Beg urged students to embrace opportunities for learning and foster teamwork, emphasizing that these experiences are essential for personal and professional growth. His address reinforced the significance of active involvement, illustrating how such engagement shapes their future careers in engineering and technology, preparing them for the challenges ahead.
In the Vote of Thanks, heartfelt gratitude was expressed to our esteemed guests, Prof. Mirza Salim Beg, Prof. M.M. Sufiyan Beg, and Dr. Qurratulain, for their invaluable contributions and support. Acknowledgment was also extended to all the IEEE members and students who participated and made the event a success. Congratulations were offered to all participants of the various competitions, recognizing their efforts and achievements. The event concluded on a harmonious note with the traditional AMU Tarana, a cherished anthem that embodies the spirit and unity of Aligarh Muslim University. This was followed by the National Anthem, fostering a sense of pride and patriotism among the attendees. The melodic performances served as a fitting end to a memorable gathering, leaving participants with a renewed sense of purpose and motivation to engage in their academic and professional journeys.
