Tech Mavens 2.0
On October 1st, 2024, the Women in Engineering (WIE) IEEE Student Branch at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), in collaboration with the Membership Development Committee (MDC), IEEE Delhi Section, successfully hosted the highly anticipated "Tech Mavens 2.0" event. The competition brought together participants from diverse academic backgrounds, engaging them in a series of exciting technical challenges designed to test their skills in coding, research, problem-solving, and trivia.
The event featured four key challenges: Code Debugger, Fact Checker Frenzy, Wikipedia Race, and Movie Quote Hunt, all aimed at promoting technical innovation, collaborative problem-solving, and creative thinking. Students had the opportunity to showcase their abilities in a fun and competitive setting, with ₹2,000 in total prize money up for grabs.
The top three performers were Anant Sharma (1st prize), Nazma Sultana (2nd prize), and Divyansh Goel (3rd prize). Participants appreciated the variety of tasks, which allowed them to enhance their technical skills in a supportive atmosphere.
Tech Mavens 2.0 not only boosted participants' technical abilities but also fostered a sense of community and teamwork, allowing students to collaborate and learn from one another. The event was a resounding success, and IEEE WIE JUIT SB looks forward to organizing more such events to continue encouraging innovation and problem-solving among students.
