We are pleased to announce an upcoming expert talk on “Vehicle Driven by AI,” hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in collaboration with the IEEE Student Chapter CUIET, scheduled for  8th October, 2024. This session aims to explore the transformative role of AI in autonomous driving technology, highlighting advancements in machine learning, computer vision, and sensor technologies. Key topics will include the future of self-driving cars, safety protocols, and ethical considerations such as AI bias and data privacy. The talk will conclude with a Q&A session, providing participants with the opportunity to discuss the implications of AI in shaping the future of transportation. Prof. Fuzia is an Associate Professor at Guizhou Normal University, China, with over 15 years of experience in computer science and a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) applications, particularly in autonomous driving technology. She has made significant contributions to the field through her involvement in various commercial projects that enhance the safety, efficiency, and functionality of AI-driven systems. As a dedicated educator, she has mentored numerous students, bridging the gap between academic research and industrial application. Today, she will share her insights into the current development status of autonomous driving in China, highlighting advancements, challenges, and the future outlook of this rapidly evolving field based on her extensive research and industry experience.
