In 1884 on October 1st, engineers from all over the world first gathered to share their technical ideas. Really an historic day. Their initiative made us to be in one forum today and discuss various issues for the advancement of technology for humanity.  We are sure that we (all together) take to next steps and keep the legacy of our leaders in the future. 
 
On this Special occasion, IEEE student members of ECE Department organized a volunteer outreach activity 'IEEE STEM Outreach Programme on TryEngineering' for the High school students of ZP High School, Dolapeta, Rajam.
 
R. Yashwanth Sai Ganesh, G. Sai Prasanna, D. Kavya Sri, R. Bharath Chandra and S. Srivallika (Final Year ECE students) were representing IEEE GMRIT SB & ECE-GMRIT, organized this programme voluntarily.  They created awareness to the school students about STEM education, TryEngineering concepts and explained some high school level concepts with some interactive animations available in IEEE STEM Portal.
