Dr. Michael Wrinch

Biography:

Dr. Michael Wrinch holds a PhD in Power Systems from the University of British Columbia and is the current Board President of Engineers Canada, as well as a past President of Engineers and Geoscientists BC. His expertise in governance, safety, and energy systems has made him a leader in his field.

Dr. Wrinch is the founder and CEO of Hedgehog Technologies, an electrical engineering consulting firm specializing in industrial power systems and advanced energy solutions. With over 25 years of experience, he has led high-performance teams and developed innovative projects across industries, from safety-instrumented systems to renewable energy.
