Biography:

Syeda Kanwal Zaidi is a digital innovation leader with a strong focus on harnessing the power of digital innovation to transform organizations. With experience in research, academia and industry, Kanwal has successfully led research initiatives and industry projects across various business and technology domains. As the chair of women in engineering – IEEE NZ North Section, she has conducted various seminars and has worked effortlessly to empower women in engineering. She has also served as a co-chair for CAUDIT Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice. Dr. Zaidi emphasizes the importance of scalable solutions and data-driven decision-making in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape. With her robust research background and active engagement in the industry, along with her professional activities, she is also dedicated to empowering researchers and students to bridge the gap between academia and industry, helping them navigate the transition from academic settings to professional environments while encouraging an industrial mindset in their research initiatives.
