BorgWarner Indiana Tech Center Tour

The BorgWarner facility in Anderson and Pendleton is focused on electromechanical machines and power electronics to enable powertrain electrification. They have systems that span from standard automotive generators (typically called alternators) all the way to Hybrid Bus machines. The Anderson facility is where prototypes and limited small production are made of these systems.
You are welcome to join the Central Indiana Section on May 16, 2017 for a presentation on some of these systems and a tour of the facility. Networking will start at 6:00 PM and the meeting will start at 6:30 PM. Parking is on the West side of the building, please enter on the South entrance.
Light refreshments will be provided at this meeting.
Advance registration is requested. The meeting is free to attend, but certificates for CEU’s and PDH’s now require a $10 fee from IEEE. Number of CEU’s/PDH’s will be awarded per length of the tour.
Registration and CEU/PDH Certificate must be requested and paid for on-line before the meeting - no cash will be accepted at the meeting location.
