Financial Acumen Event with SWE NESS and IEEE Providence Section
Do you ever wish you could ask questions of a financial expert, without any judgment, strings attached, or a sales pitch? How does some objectivity sound, while discussing critical life changing issues? SWE NESS is welcoming local Certified Financial Planner(s), and fiduciaries, for a financial acumen/investment conversation.
Chris Yalanis has been a University instructor for many years, having taught both the undergraduate Investment Management course as well as with the Circle of Scholars program, at Salve Regina University. In addition to his academic expertise, he’s “been there and done that” as the Managing Director of the Yalanis Private Wealth Management Group. Earlier in his career he also taught Philosophy (Ethics, Medical Ethics and Critical Thinking). His team are passionate about teaching financial skills, giving objective fiduciary advice, and welcome the questions/discussions with folks who want to learn!
The event will be held at the Kingston Free Library near URI. This event will be highly interactive, and a great chance to ask questions to seasoned financial experts. Guests of SWE are welcome.
Pizza will be provided by the IEEE!
