Observe animals eating in their natural habitat and make conclusions about what they need to survive.

Electrical Cards

Make observations to provide evidence that energy can be transferred from place to place by sound, light, heat, and electric currents.

Build a Flotation Device

Students use a limited set of materials to design and build a flotation device that can keep an unopened can of soup/vegetables afloat in a bucket of water for one minute.
