IEEE WiSe Council Inaugural Event – Advancing Sensor Technology Awareness

The IEEE Student Branch at Tula’s Institute presents the inaugural event of the Women in Sensors (WiSe) Council. Join us on November 15, 2024, for an engaging day of guest lectures, networking, and discussions about the latest advancements in sensor technology..


The IEEE Student Branch at Tula’s Institute is hosting an inaugural event for the Women in Sensors (WiSe) Council on November 15, 2024. This one-day event, funded with approximately $1600, is dedicated to fostering interest in sensor technology and encouraging women’s participation in the field.

Starting at 10:00 AM, the event will feature three guest lectures from industry experts who will discuss recent advances in sensor technology, applications, and industry trends. The event will bring together IEEE members, students, and faculty from various institutions, creating a platform for learning, networking, and collaboration.

Meals will be provided to all attendees, including lunch, tea, and high tea. Additionally, funds will cover travel and accommodation for our guest lecturers, ensuring they can share their expertise and insights.

The IEEE WiSe Council at Tula’s Institute aims to empower students, particularly women, by providing valuable resources, professional connections, and hands-on learning opportunities in sensor technology and engineering. This event marks a significant step in broadening the horizons for students interested in technical fields and encourages greater inclusivity in the IEEE community.
