Battery Technology Comparison
This technical course is an introduction and comparison of industrial stationary batteries and the various types available for standby use. Topics include industrial battery basics, battery history, terminology, overview of the various battery technologies used in stationary applications, and choosing the best technology for the application.
Biography:
David began his electrical background in the U.S. Navy’s advanced electronics program. He has been in the standby battery and power industry for 35 years including 8 years’ experience with UPS and charger OEM’s in both technical, engineering, sales, and management capacities. He worked as a battery sales rep for 18 years representing the Saft battery line and has been a Saft America sales manager for a total of 7 years. David earned a BS in Computer Information Systems from University of Houston Clear Lake in Texas.
