On March 6, 2024, the IEEE Computer Society Kerala Chapter launched Task 1 of Elever 4.0: the Portfolio Website Competition. This event invited participants to demonstrate their web development skills by crafting digital portfolios, competing for prizes totaling ₹1,000. The competition ran from 12:00 PM on March 6 to 11:59 PM on March 12, 2024, providing an exciting week-long challenge for all involved.


The competition was open to participants using any programming language, stack, or framework, allowing for a wide range of creative and technical approaches. Detailed guidelines were provided to ensure all submissions met high standards. Participants were required to create a personal portfolio website. Submissions had to include a live URL to the portfolio and the source code repository. The projects were judged based on design, functionality, responsiveness, and originality. All submissions were to be made by 11:59 PM on March 12, 2024.
The event concluded with the evaluation of submissions and the announcement of the winners. We are proud to unveil the champions of the Task 1 Portfolio Website Development Challenge: Hemanth A K from GEC Idukki secured the first prize, Mohammed Irfan Rashid AM from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, earned the second prize, and Gokul GK from College of Engineering, Adoor, won the third prize. The winners were selected based on innovation, design, functionality, and overall execution of their portfolio websites. Each submission was a testament to the participants' dedication, creativity, and technical skills.
