Join us at the IEEE WIE Forum, part of the IEEE ICSPIS 2024, where the IEEE UAE Section's Signal Processing Society (SPS) Chapter and Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group are proud to present a unique platform for addressing diversity, inclusion, and implicit bias in engineering. This forum will bring together leading voices from various fields to discuss these important themes, fostering an environment of knowledge exchange and professional growth.
The event will feature a keynote address by Prof. Athina Petropulu, Distinguished Professor at Rutgers University, USA, on “Physical Layer Security for Dual-Function Radar-Communication Systems.” With an impressive career that spans research, leadership, and service, Prof. Petropulu will share her insights on security challenges in advanced signal processing applications. This will be followed by an engaging panel discussion titled “Overcoming Implicit Bias in Engineering Environments,” with expert panelists, including:
