IEEEXTREME18.0 BOOTCAMP : Introduction to Graph Theory and Dynamic Programming
The IEEE CS ENIS SBC, IEEE ENIS SB, and IEEE ISETDjerba SB, in partnership with IEEE Tunisia Section, IEEE ENIS SB, IEEE ISETDjerba SB, IEEE Palestine Section, IEEE PPU SB, IEEE YP AG Lebanon Section, IEEE Ecuador Section, IEEE USFQ SB, IEEE Jordan Section, IEEE YU SB, IEEE HU SB, IEEE EJUST SB, IEEE UoT SB, IEEE Strathmore, IEEE Region 8, and IEEE Region 9, recently organized another impactful session for the IEEE Xtreme International Bootcamp titled Introduction to Graph Theory and Dynamic Programming.
Led by Mr. Ahmed Lazher, the session introduced attendees to two fundamental areas in computer science and competitive programming: graph theory and dynamic programming. Participants explored the essential concepts of graph theory, including nodes, edges, and various types of traversals, along with applications in solving complex network and connectivity problems. The dynamic programming section provided insight into solving optimization problems by breaking them into overlapping sub-problems, helping participants understand techniques to approach challenging problem sets efficiently.
This session was especially valuable for those looking to enhance their problem-solving toolkit, as they learned not only the theory but also applied it in practical scenarios. By the end, attendees had a solid grasp of foundational techniques used in competitive programming, allowing them to tackle advanced problems with confidence. The workshop not only prepared participants for the IEEE Xtreme 18.0 competition but also equipped them with skills crucial for tackling real-world computational challenges, embodying IEEE’s commitment to knowledge-sharing and professional growth across borders
