recently organized another highly impactful session for the IEEE Xtreme International Bootcamp, titled Coding Practice and Q&A Session.

This session offered participants an interactive platform to enhance their coding skills while preparing for the IEEE Xtreme competition. Attendees engaged in hands-on coding exercises, tackling problems in real-time, with expert mentors guiding them through best practices, problem-solving strategies, and efficient coding techniques. The Q&A format allowed participants to ask questions about specific challenges they faced, gaining valuable insights and solutions directly from experienced mentors.

This session provided an invaluable opportunity for participants to practice coding under the guidance of seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative learning environment. This approach not only improved their technical abilities but also helped build confidence, ensuring that they are better prepared for the upcoming IEEE Xtreme 18.0 competition. The event highlighted the bootcamp's ongoing commitment to empowering participants with the skills, resources, and support needed to excel in competitive programming and problem-solving.

Dr Kennedy K. Ronoh

Biography:

Dr. Kennedy K. Ronoh is a distinguished lecturer at Strathmore University and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi. With a deep expertise in computer networks, data communications, cryptography, wireless security, and more, Dr. Ronoh has made significant contributions to the field. He has published over 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals and indexed conferences, establishing himself as a leading figure in his area of expertise. In addition, he has served on the programme committees and as a reviewer for prestigious IEEE conferences such as AFRICON and ICT4DA.

Dr. Ronoh’s contributions extend beyond academia, particularly in the area of broadband connectivity in Kenya. He has been involved in key policy initiatives, including the development of the 6 GHz spectrum for WiFi 6E and the advocacy for TV White Spaces, both of which aim to enhance internet access across the country.
