The EEE department has organized one week workshop in association with Tessolve Semiconductor 
Private Limited, Bengaluru on “Embedded IOT & Industrial Automation” from 12-08-2024 to 17-08-
2024.
The students are practiced with Tinkercad & Energia softwares
12/08/2024: First day, they learned about evolution, operation and characteristics of embedded 
systems and their applications. Also, they learned the basics of C language, embedded C language and 
Arduino IDE software. 
13/08/2024: Second day, they got knowledge about how to install Tinkercad & Energia softwares with 
their usage and practiced different exercise programs in Tinkercad by using Arduino. In addition, they 
have understood the concepts of semiconductors and digital electronics. 
14/08/2024: Third day, they got knowledge about ADC and DAC converters, different types of 
modulation, different types of sensors like PIR, Ultrasonic and temperature sensors with Tinkercad 
software.
16/08/2024: Students got knowledge about timers and counters, communication protocol, UART,
SCL, SDA, types of interrupts along with simple examples.
17/08/2024: Students understand about IOT and applications, protocols of IOT and they enhanced 
coding skills using ThingSpeak and Wokwi software. Also, they have practiced different IOT 
applications and interfaced with Arduino UNO board.
