INDUSTRY INSYNC - Workshop on Industrial Automation
"Industry In-Sync", a workshop in which we guided the audience through the essentials of industrial automation, PCB design, PCB assembly,Circuit design and IoT (Internet of Things). We started by explaining industrial automation, how machines and systems can work automatically to make industries more efficient. Then, we covered PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design, showing how to plan and create circuits on a board that connect electronic components. In PCB assembly, we discussed how these components are physically placed and attached to the PCB. Finally, we explored IoT, describing how devices connect to the internet to exchange data and enable smart applications in industries. This event provided participants with a solid foundation in key areas of modern technology.

Speakers
Karishma of IEEE PES MJCET
Industrial Automation
Karishma began the event by introducing the audience to "Industrial automation", explaining how it allows machines, systems, and processes to operate with minimal human intervention. She highlighted how automation uses technologies like sensors, controllers, and software to manage and monitor industrial equipment and production lines. Karishma covered key components, such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) systems, which allow for precise control and real-time monitoring of industrial processes. She also discussed the advantages of automation, including improved efficiency, productivity, and safety, and how automation systems can handle repetitive or complex tasks with greater accuracy and speed than manual labor.
Address:Hyderabad, India
Mr Mirza Maboob of IEEE PES MJCET
PCB Designing
Mirza Mahboob introduced the audience to PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design, emphasizing its importance in electronics projects for creating compact, organized circuits. He explained the basics of laying out components, creating clear signal paths, and ensuring electrical reliability. Mirza also highlighted the role of software tools in PCB design, which simplify the process by allowing users to plan, simulate, and visualize circuit boards digitally before production. Finally, he discussed best practices like component placement, trace width considerations, and grounding techniques to optimize board performance and durability.
Address:Hyderabad, India
Syed Tajammul Hassan of IEEE PES MJCET
PCB Assembly
Syed Tajammul Hassan provided an overview of PCB assembly, explaining the process of placing and soldering electronic components onto a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) to create a fully functional circuit. He described the main steps, starting with the solder paste application on the board, followed by component placement using machines or manually. He then explained the reflow soldering process, where the board is heated in an oven to melt the solder and secure the components in place.
