The online session on Climate Change was chaired by Mr. Amine Gasmi, Vice President of the IEEE PES Tunisia Section.  The focus of the session was on the urgent need to address climate change through innovative solutions and the integration of renewable energy. Participants were introduced to key concepts around the environmental challenges we face today, with an emphasis on how renewable energy can play a pivotal role in mitigating the effects of global warming.

The session covered a range of topics, including the scientific basis of climate change, the impact of carbon emissions, and how modern energy systems can adapt to reduce their environmental footprint. 

Attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the challenges posed by climate change and the importance of sustainable engineering practices. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where participants engaged in discussions on practical solutions and the future of renewable energy in climate change mitigation.
